Smile By Design

Smile By Design

Smile by design is a purely cosmetic dental therapy that consists of multiple dental procedures that are aimed at enhancing the aesthetics of the smile. The appearance of your smile is just as important as oral health, which is why we emphasize on both of them equally. If you have avoided dental consultations for many years in a row that has led to cosmetic dental concerns, smile by design would be the perfect solution for you.

What procedures are included in a smile by design?

As the name suggests, we meticulously design your smile to make it appear as pleasing as possible. Some of the prominent procedures are:

Veneers: Porcelain veneers are widely used to make subtle changes to the contour and external appearance of the teeth. They are customized to mimic the natural teeth in terms of color, texture, and contour, which is how they stay perfectly under disguise.

Crowns: Crowns not only restore the teeth to their ideal aesthetics but also treat damage, such as cracks, chipping, fracture, excessive wear, etc. They are custom-fabricated to fit on your natural teeth, thereby covering them fully and protecting them.

Composite bonding: Using composite resin to restore the structure and aesthetics of the teeth is quite a simple yet effective solution. The resin can be customized to match the enamel, thereby keeping it under disguise. Composite resin is highly resistant to wear and staining, allowing it to stay as good as new for longer.

Gum contouring: The gums are soft tissues that hold the teeth in place and enhance the aesthetics of one’s smile. They could sometimes decay due to the microbial action, leading to the discharge of pus, bleeding, receding gum line, jawbone deterioration, etc. We treat gum diseases by removing the decayed tissues, treating the infection using a medication, and grafting healthy tissues to the receded area.

Orthodontics: Malocclusion is a significant concern that affects not only the alignment of teeth but could negatively influence oral functionality. Dentists suggest getting malocclusion treated at an early age, as it helps to align the teeth better. We provide orthodontic solutions through  Invisalign.

Fillings: Cavities are one of the most prominent oral concerns and affect individuals of all ages. They are caused due to the erosion of the enamel by the microbes in the mouth, followed by the decay of the underlying tissues. We remove the decay and apply a suitable tooth-colored filling material to restore it.
